Peter Krasinski
The 7th Annual Hancock Concert Series is about to get underway, and this year we launch with a feast for both the eyes and ears. On Sunday, October 22 at 2:00 p.m., we’ll screen the 1922 classic silent movie version of The Phantom of the Opera, accompanied by live organ music by internationally renowned organist Peter Krasinski. The immortal Lon Chaney stars (in horrifying makeup of his own devising) in this tale of a disfigured misfit who haunts the Paris Opera and longs for the Opera’s star, Christine. The afternoon will also feature a short by the great Buster Keaton, Haunted House. A terrific afternoon for the whole family. More details to follow, but mark your calendars now!
