An Epic Journey with the Theia Piano Trio
Trio to Perform on Hancock Concert Series
LEXINGTON, MA–Take an “Epic Journey” this April with the virtuoso Theia Piano Trio. The Trio will be performing as part of the Hancock Concert Series on Saturday, April 2nd at 7:30 p.m. at Hancock Church in Lexington.
“Epic Journey” will take us from Russia to to Argentina with works by Tschaikovsky and Piazzolla. Featured will be P.I. Tchaikovsky’s Piano Trio op. 50 in A-minor and Astor Piazzolla’s complete cycle of Four Seasons for Piano Trio. The works are lyrical, fiery, and emotional that will highlight the great skill of this terrific new ensemble.
Making a return appearance in Lexington after their outstanding debut last fall, the Theia Piano Trio has quickly been making a name for itself in the area. The trio is composed of violinist Aija Reke, cellist Daniel Dickson, and pianist Han Nah Son. All have won numerous competitions around the world and bring these prodigious talents to the chamber music repertoire.
The concert is presented on Saturday, April 2nd at 7:30 p.m. by the Hancock Concert Series at Hancock Church, 1912 Massachusetts Ave in Lexington.
