The four Handbell Choirs of Hancock United Church of Christ will present their 18th Annual Holiday Concert on Sunday December 9 from 2:00-3:15 p.m. Ringers of all ages will play popular secular, sacred, and classical holiday favorites such as Frosty, the Snowman and Silver Bells, as well as French, Celtic, and British carols from across the ages, all on 5 octaves of bells and 6 octaves of chimes.
A smaller, but equally enjoyable, eighth annual Weekday Holiday Concert will be presented by the Morning Glory Ringers on Friday, December 14 from 10-11 a.m. Both programs are sure to please listeners of all ages and cultures. Singing along and dancing in the aisles is encouraged! Come in from the cold and experience the warmth and magic of the holidays with the sparkle of bells!
The concerts are Hancock’s gift to the community. They are free, open to the public, family and child-friendly, interactive, and handicapped accessible. Free parking in the rear of the building. For questions, contact cheryl@kraley.com.
